What is a service unit?
The annual AASHTOWare Bridge Management license covers basic support of the product as needed, such as fixing bugs or database issues for an agency. The way agencies receive advanced support, training, customization, and help migrating to newer versions of AASHTOWare Bridge Management software is by purchasing service units through AASHTO. This allows agencies to use the AASHTOWare Bridge Management Contractor to assist with virtually any tasks related to their implementation. Agencies have used service units for all purposes from training inspectors on how to use the product, to assisting agencies in migrating to newer versions of the software, to server configuration, to building custom reports within the software, and varying degrees of customizations.
